The Workforce Solutions (WFS) Sr. Implementation Manager will work in close collaboration with the Sales Organization including the Directors of Strategic Solutions, Business Development and Operations to develop Workforce Solutions (WFS) to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
He/she is responsible for the implementation of Workforce Solutions at Cross Country Staffing’s client healthcare facilities; this includes serving as pre and post-sales support for Workforce Solutions, as Project Manager for facility implementations and the management of WFS projects to ensure all technology and process related activities are effectively enabled to deliver the program successfully. Due to the nature and size of some projects and accounts, a secondary goal is to serve as the implementation lead/support for Vendor Management Systems (VMS) technology and Interview Management Services (IVS) as well as other projects as assigned.
•Lead and Subject Matter Expert for all technology integrations
•Initial point of contact for new WFS customers to accurately assist with project and resource planning prior to lead Implementation Manager hand-off
•Define and assess project risks, both technical and non-technical in nature, and effectively deploy mitigation plans
•Internal escalation contact for all 2nd level technical issues and enhancement requests which require submittal to and resolution by 3rd party technology
•Disseminate all key communication regarding 3rd party technology to internal stakeholders
•Act as a consultant to both internal and external customers by understanding their expectations/requirements and arming them with the appropriate technical knowledge to aid in their decision-making process
•Assist with the training and knowledge transfer for new-hire Implementation Managers (in conjunction with the Director of Implementation Services)
•Analyze current WFS implementation & production processes and recommend solutions and improvements
•Fosters an environment that focuses on excellent client satisfaction with integrated processes and outcomes
•Have knowledge of all Cross Country Healthcare’s business offerings, expert knowledge of Workforce Solutions, including but not limited to VMS technology, IVS programs, Learning Management system (benefits and features), as well as operational processes for Travel Nursing, Allied, Physician / Locum Tenets,
Perm Placement and Per Diem services
•Work closely with Sales organization, Operations team, and healthcare facility clients, driving the Workforce Solutions transition from the sales process through implementation and into operational maintenance
•Lead workforce solution design based upon Cross Country & Clients mutual goals
•Develop and deliver customized implementation presentations for clients
•Develop customized implementation schedule for each WFS implementation and execute according to plan
•Maintain and adhere to the formal implementation process and schedule
•Management, collection, analysis and communication of pre WFS utilization and spend data that will be utilized for benchmarking and base line for future assessment of effectiveness of services and measurement of cost containment
•Monitor implementation process, schedule and provide regular implementation status reports to external and internal management teams
•Lead, coordinate and facilitate client all internal meetings concerning implementation activities
•Participate in RFP presentation development and delivery related to all CCH Workforce Solutions service offerings
•Maintain updated knowledge and experience in the use of VMS technology; train internal and external clients on VMS technology assessing and driving product enhancements when necessary
•Serve as project manager for key Cross Country University (CCU) initiatives at WFS facilities, including but not limited to the Learning Management System, CCU specialty testing, Joint Commission related initiatives
•Assess client work flow processes and explore opportunities for improvement, efficiency and adoption of best practices
•Identify and communicate potential service and new business opportunities
•Assess data & reporting needs; develop reports as necessary and teach WFS Operations team to complete and deliver reports
•Regularly review the Workforce Solutions process guide and update as needed
•Champion problem resolution, especially if problems occur during implementation
•Participate, coordinate and lead where applicable in the definition of opportunities for enhancements (i.e. Kronos Interface Projects). These recommendations should include proposed activities, timeline, responsible resources, financial impacts (e.g. cost/benefit analysis) and monitor results
•Represent and support the business initiatives of Cross Country Staffing internally and externally
•Service all internal and external customers in a positive manner at all times
•Disseminate information to appropriate teams in a timely and effective manner
•Provide appropriate coverage (i.e. backup) when WFS team members are out of the office
•Utilized as CCS resources at any client facility based in proximity to primary residence/geographical region

Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
•BA/BS with focus in business, clinical / healthcare administration or technology, or equivalent work experience
•Proven project management experience, PMP or equivalent certification preferred
•Minimum 10 years’ project and / or implementation management experience in healthcare or staffing industry
•Experience in utilizing computer—MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint are required
•Coaching / Training experience preferred
•Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to quickly react to potentially critical situations and have strong problem-solving abilities.
•Must be able to manage competing demands and changing priorities with a positive attitude.
