The Opportunity: 

  •  Provide CMA coverage at interventional clinic

  •  Documentation of clinical history; to include, but not limited to obtaining vital signs,  
    PMH, PSH, updating medication list

  •  Answer / screen incoming phone calls

  •  Phoning in of patient prescriptions and documentation in patient record

  •  Assist with IVs, potential lab draws

  •  Assist with bringing patients back to clinical area from reception, stocking and cleaning clinical exam rooms

  •  Review of charts to ensure all appropriate medical documents are up-to-date

  •  Monitor and document patient wait times to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner

  •  Understand and explain clinical details of procedures and imaging

  •  Provide patients with educational information regarding their diagnosis

  •  Assist with wound care; to include dressing removal, photo documentation, measurement of wound redressing

  •  Provide backup coverage for PA workflow coordinator (if needed)

  •  Maintenance of file storage for wound documentation photos

  •  Work with the interventional coordinators to assist in other patient care areas (could include appointment scheduling, follow up on treatment plan actions)

  •  Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Interventional Radiologists and PAs

  • Complete other duties as assigned

Operation Hours:
  M-F 8:00 a.m. to -430 p.m., Will also be responsible for coverage at the IR clinic at Main uptown (lab draws required) for PDO coverage for the CMA at that site
