The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Custodian for the Center of Hope located in Savanah, GA.
 

Job Summary
Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same daily.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds; Ability to follow instructions and work independently; Ability to read and communicate the English language.|

Education and Experience
No formal education or experience required; Six (6) months experience performing general housekeeping duties; Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
 

Licenses and Certifications
Valid State Driver’s License

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to meet attendance requirements; Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work; Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing. Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
