A Sign-On Bonus up to $7,500 will be granted for external hires. Payout schedule is ½ amount on first paycheck and remaining ½ after 6 months worked. Bonus amount will be commensurate with experience level. 


SkyWater Technology is searching for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our facility in Bloomington, MN. This position will support 411,000 square foot, highly technical building, operating 

24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

•Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, to include critical building support systems such as:
      o Reverse Osmosis, Deionized and Chilled Water Systems.
      o Environmental Control Systems:
           Makeup Air, Air Handling & Roof Top Units.
           Hot Water and Low-Pressure Steam Boilers.
      o Acid Waste Neutralization Systems.
      o Bulk Chemical & Gas Distribution Systems.
      o Exhaust Systems:
           Fume Scrubbers.
           General Exhaust Fans.
      o Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Work Environment.
• Assist with Project Planning and Task Execution.
• Document Facilities Procedures & make Improvements to Procedures as needed.
• The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

A Shift: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:00am - 6:15pm
B Shift: 
Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:15am plus 10% shift differential
C Shift: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00am - 6:15pm
D Shift: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:15am plus 15% shift differential 
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One or more of the following:
      o AA/AS Degree or greater in Related Field.
      o 4 or more years of Plant/Facilities Maintenance or Related Experience.
      o 4 or more years of Military Experience in Related Field.
• Highly motivated individual who can achieve positive results in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to obtain a minimum of a 2C boilers license within 1 ½ years.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and environmental conditions.
• Able to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and one-line drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Semiconductor Facilities Maintenance Experience.
• 8 or more years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or Related Field.
• Certifications, Licenses or Experience in any of the following:
o Electrical (Industrial-Level)
o Building Automation
o Boilers (Class C)
o Bulk Chemical Distribution Systems
o Bulk and Specialty Cylinder Gas Systems
o AutoCAD Software

Physical Demands:
Lift and move processing equipment, applicable tools, office equipment, and some chemical drums. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 3-4 days/week. Variety of standing, sitting & data entry. Wear complete fab attire for full shift Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements. Wear proper personal protective equipment, and work with; hazardous chemicals, gasses and hot/cold outdoor environments.
