About this Opportunity:

Regency Centers is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team in our Jacksonville, Florida corporate office. The HR Business Partner will function as an internal consultant to departments in areas of HR including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, training and development. This individual will also play a key role in the design, development and implementation of Regency’s diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

HR Business Partner General Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Human Resources expert to effectively manage relationships with assigned teams in support of business objectives.
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans to identify new and promotion talent for assigned teams.
  • Handle employee relations issues and support employee engagement initiatives for assigned teams.
  • Partner with other HR team members, hiring managers and office coordinators to effectively onboard new employees.
  • Keep current with general HR compliance developments, employment laws, etc.
  • Partner with other HRBPs to facilitate individual and group training in support of Regency’s strategic training objectives and department needs.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the HR team by actively participating in group projects and supporting other team members when necessary.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Responsibilities

  • Support leadership in implementing Regency’s DEI initiatives, as directed, to include tracking, monitoring and forwarding initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve DEI process to gain efficiency and align with best-in-class practices.
  • Participate in ongoing development of DEI strategy as a member of the DEI Council.
  • Tactically incorporate Regency’s DEI initiatives into HR practices, to include partnerships with other HR Business Partners for hiring, development and promotion opportunities.
  • Monitor DEI budget and track expenses.
  • Support Regency’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and monitor practices in alignment with program guidelines.
  • Collect and submit data for quarterly ERG progress reports and the annual Corporate Responsibility Report, in partnership with other members of the HR team.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior related experience in a human resources function
  • Strong technical aptitude and intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed

Preferred

  • Post-graduate degree our coursework in a relevant field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or similar
  • Experience with corporate DEI initiatives
