The Indiana University Foundation seeks a collaborative and dynamic individual to join the Indiana University Foundation and Indiana University Alumni Association as Project Manager!

As Project Manager, you will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, processes and user needs, to further functional processes consistent with the overarching strategy, goals and objectives for IUF and IUAA.  You will work with a variety of teams, divisions, stakeholders, and vendors to enhance organizational business applications and processes with the primary emphasis on project management.

As Project Manager, you will work on the Advancement Support Services team with a team of additional project managers, as well as systems trainers. While internal team collaboration is important, you will also be consistently working on a variety of other teams, jumping right into their disciplines and evaluating and strengthening processes, initiatives, etc.

Your Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build “trust” with the customer.
  • Loves helping customers move from ‘problem’ to ‘solution’ collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of levels of stakeholders with enhanced communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly integrate into sub-functions within the organization no matter their discipline and provide project management and analysis support.
  • Ability to apply traditional and other project management methodologies to projects.
  • Ability to understand application development processes , database, and system design required.
  • Strong desire to follow through on deliverables and keep projects on-task.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to use relational database management systems and spreadsheets to support project management and reporting.
  • Attention to quality and strong follow through skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability for problem solving.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work individually and with a team.
  • Ability to gather and interpret data and information.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Ability to continue digging into challenges, learning, and driving for resolution.

 

Your Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years professional project management experience.
  • Experience in a business environment strongly preferred.
  • Project Management certifications and trainings a plus!

 

About the Advancement Data, Support & Technology Services Department:

The Advancement Data, Support & Technology Services department provides the systems infrastructure (hardware and application software), data, and user support that the IU Foundation and IU Alumni Association staff need to do their jobs. The department serves IU by making advancement information accessible to users of our systems and by providing security and privacy for donor records and financial information.
