POSITION SUMMARY  Provides support recruiting team by providing general Administrative and recruiting functions. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Performs administrative talent acquisition and other duties:
    1. Perform all talent acquisitions administrative task for contacts, AbilityOne, retail, GEC and administrative office.
    2. Responsible for new candidates from offer status until ready to schedule for New Hire Orientation. (Sending background/drug test email, following up with candidates on completion and informing talent acquisition partners when candidates are ready for New Hire Orientation).
    3. Follow up on employment offers and send offer letters as required
    4. Maintain all documentations and annual reporting for drivers
    5. Checking Recruiting@dcgoodwill.org email box daily, processing request or sending messages to appropriate team member
  2. Posting all new openings in Applicant Tracking System and State Sites.
  3. Reviews all invoices for accuracy and present for payment approval.
  4. Overseeing and updating Community Partnership List
  5. Conduct phone screens for assigned positions or to assist recruiters.
  6. Complete accurate reference checks.
  7. Ensures candidate packages are complete, accurate and filed.
  8. Monitor New Hire Orientation roster, completing follow-up reminder calls and communicating NHO information across departments.
  9. Support New Hire Orientation 1 to 2 days a week, to include I-9 verification and upload to eVerify.
  10. Making follow-up stay interview calls for new associates.
  11. Sources, qualifies and candidates.
  12. Conducts reminders and follow-up.
  13. Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Checks and responds to all emails.
  2. Forwards interview notes and paperwork of applicants to People and Culture.
  3. Sorts incoming documents and files or distributes to appropriate person.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

 

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  1.  Two years previous admin. Experience
  2. Proven attention to detail.
  3. Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in written format.
  4. An excellent command of the English language including correspondence style, grammar, spelling and proofreading.
  5. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  6. Ability to use proper telephone etiquette while handing multiple incoming telephone lines.
  7. The ability to respond well under pressure, with poise and to multi-task.
  8. Ability to develop trust with candidates GGW associates.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to use tact and diplomacy while dealing with the public, and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population.
  10. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  11. Good organizational skills

 

*This position sometimes requires travel to and from off-site retail locations throughout MD, DC and VA.

 

**Must be able to work weekends.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous HR experience
  2. Ability to multi-task.

 

Physical  Demands

 

        Medium

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/ carrying objects weighing up      to 25 pounds.

 

Work Environment

 

        Limited

General office environment infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
