Job Summary
:

The Hotel Network Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of strategic and transformative initiatives for the Hotel Network and Operations teams.  He or she must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.  The Hotel Network Support Specialist must have strong people skills as he or she must work closely with departments and leadership throughout the organization, including Hotel Account Management, Billing, Sourcing, IT, Operations, and other departments.  The ability to understand to learn new systems and processes, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and strong administrative and organization skills will be essential for success.  He or she will act as administrative support for research, designing, and implementing improvements for changing areas of focus as determined by the Network and Operations senior leadership team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Hotel Network and Operations teams by completing administrative duties as assigned.
  • Update project trackers and progress reports for all assigned tasks.
  • Maintain necessary shared electronic files and records.
  • Research and develop resource materials for new and existing processes and procedures.
  • Research, identify, communicate, and resolve issues as assigned by the Hotel Network Support Manager.
  • Provide clear, concise, proactive, and open communication to the Hotel Network Support Manager for all assigned tasks and timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of internal experience working in an operations or operational support capacity in the areas of call center, billing, or client services.
  • Previous experience in process improvement, process design, or project management and support preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with various levels of audience.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, able to identify root cause and seek solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate multiple PC and web based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Ability to identify, communicate and resolve issues effectively.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, responsibility, persistence, and ownership.

  • Provide consistent accuracy and service with minimal errors
  • Adhere to Schedule and FLT attendance policy
