Scope Summary:

We are currently seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer at CompTIA, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying web applications, from layout to function, according to project requirements. You will be working with our dynamic team to develop high-quality web applications.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, maintain, and test web applications
  • Develop responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React
  • Develop and manage APIs
  • Implement server-side logic using C#, ASP.net, and .NET
  • Work with SQL/SQL Server, and NoSQL/Cosmos DB for data management
  • Work with and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve web application-related issues
  • Work closely with the customer succuess team to resolve SSO issues
  • Document web application processes and procedures
  • Write and maintain unit tests
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development

 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
  • Working Knowledge of SQL/SQL Server or NOSQL
  • Experience with developing and consuming API’s
  • Profiecient with using Git, Visual Studio, and Visual Code
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).  Optimizely and Sitefinity preferred
  • Working knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and protocols such as Azure B2C, Oauth, Open ID Connect, and SAML
  • Has worked with Microsoft Azure cloud resources/tools such as Azure Function Apps, Application Insights, and Devops
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
  • Working in an Agile Scrum environment and Jira ticketing system
  • Worked with API Testing tools such as Curl, Postman, and Insomnia
  • Familiarity of web accessibility standards
  • Microsoft Dynamics Experience

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in programming and web development
