The Casino Business Analyst Manager is a highly visible role responsible for powering data-driven decision making across the casino business. This individual is expected to develop a deep understanding of the business, to combine that with sharp analytical and technical skills, and to ultimately drive the business forward by surfacing insights and recommendations which spark action.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1.    Produce plans for data governance design, casino data strategy, KBQ strategy design
2.    Standardize data across casino operations with an goal to automate business processes. 
3.    Create Casino Business Intelligence architecture and design with emphasis on Machine learning and artificial intelligence. 
4.    Work with top talent in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where analytics and good data are a top priority.
5.    Design metrics, reports, analyses, and experiments which surface actionable insights. 
6.    Conduct deep-dive data analyses that result in high-quality insights and concrete recommendations. 
7.    Identify areas of opportunity and operational efficiency within the casino department. 
8.    Work with casino leadership to define metrics that matter and data-driven decision-making frameworks. Drive broad awareness and adoption of these across the company, and strengthen our decision-making, both in terms of approach and execution, especially in high-priority focus areas.
9.    Generate ad-hoc and regular analysis reports, to review and evaluate the effectiveness and return-on-investment of promotions/programs. Identifies and performs due diligence around insight areas. 
10.    Crate budgetary and forecasting reports. 
11.    Other work-related duties or projects as directed by the Senior Director of Casino Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required: At least 10 years’ Casino management experience. Must be able to use data analysis/visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Management, or related work experience.

Other Requirements:  Must have a foundational understanding of process and procedure development and implementation.  Must possess the ability to assume responsibility and be self-motivated.  Must have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with management and employees, in addition to excellent written communication skills.  Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.  Must be able to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Must possess multi-disciplinary leadership skills including engaging with, presenting recommendations to, and influencing strategic and tactical decision-making. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.  Outstanding attendance/punctuality.  Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance per company standards.
