The District Sales Manager leads the execution of sales initiatives and will have full responsibility for sales execution in all local, regional, and national assigned accounts.


Role Responsibilities

  • The Business Development District Sales Manager will have full responsibility for new customer acquisitions within their territory
  • Coach and develop the team of direct reports while ensuring a culture of learning and development exists throughout the selling organization
  • Responsible for the execution of all sales priorities and initiatives
  • Responsible for identifying and developing core talent
  • Responsible for relationships with new accounts and successful handoff to Sales area leadership in operations.
  • Responsible for account qualification to deliver GP, Revenue, and volume to support capital investment
  • Assist in collaborative development with new customers on a yearly or multiyear price/package plan that generates desired results for both Customer and the Coke Florida system.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners (PGM, Marketing, Finance), working as the CPA liaison, to develop programming that will accelerate incremental business and exceed program objectives for local/regional customers.
  • Provide a feedback loop to the department team and Director of Sales on marketplace conditions (includes competition, channel plans, pricing, architecture)
  • Provide inspirational leadership and ensure execution of all engagement initiatives (e.g., Town Halls) to drive strong employee engagement

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years in consumer goods industry
  • Experience in developing successful annual business plans and price/package for retail customers
  • Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling, Account Management
  • Customer Profitability Analysis and Development of RFA
  • Food Service on Premise (FSOP), Alternative Route-To-Market (ARTM), Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and/or Beverage category experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Change agent who thrives in a fast pace, ever changing environment
  • Intermediate computer and database application skills preferred
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling, and/or lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing
