THE BRASS TACKS

  • Consistently provide exceptional guest service as defined by CHI standards and values.
  • Work with a team to process semi-monthly, multi-property, multi-state, hourly and salaried payroll.
  • HRIS data entry (Ceridian-Dayforce): Process and validate wage increases, position changes, status changes, terminations, etc.
  • Payroll data entry: handle discrepancies and timecard edits, retro processing, gross-up checks, manual/express checks, uploads, etc.
  • Audit multiple-property payrolls for accuracy and policy adherence.
  • Manage garnishment demands and verify compliance and disbursements.
  • Assist with external audits for payroll, worker’s comp, 401k, etc.
  • Respond to emails and calls with questions regarding payroll, time, self-service, etc.

THE NITTY GRITTY

  • Three + years of payroll processing experience required, minimum of one year processing for multiple locations and/or multi-state preferred.
  • Must have strong audit skills with a propensity for detail and the ability to engage in constructive problem solving.
  • Must work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must be able to deal professionally with confidential materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office elements.
  • Strong people skills and organizational skills necessary • Must be a team player.
  • Working hours may include weekends and some holidays.
  • Onsite position. Flexible schedule but must be present on payroll processing and commit days.
