TSS is seeking a Training Facilitator
- The contractor shall conduct technical training on topics as requested by FDA
- Provide training for newly hired OEI Coordinators on OEI updates in FACTS and handle hard copy paperwork per the FMD-130 requirements
- Provide training for newly hired Consumer Safety Officers on FDA inspectional procedures and techniques and/or Recall Audit procedures, Sample collection and Collection Report document completions.
- Provide Supervisory/Leadership guidance; Labor and Employee Relations (LER); import operations, policy and procedures; Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operations, policy and procedures; FD&C Act and related laws & regulations governing FDA regulated products.
- Provide guidance and advice to all CSO’s and SCSO’s (including new and details) regarding case management and case development.
- Develop and present informational training sessions for new SCSO designed to provide a practical approach of supervision.
- Provide new SCSO with training, insight and guidance regarding branch operational procedures
- Provide guidance and assistance with the PEACE Bridge renovation project (involving interactions with GSA, FDA Realty Specialist, CBP; blueprints, space need and unanticipated changes; construction and its impact on work environment and employees).
- Counsel Branch Director regarding routine and non-routine branch operations (esp. with procedures which are not used on a day-to-day basis).
- Counsel the Deputy Director, Import Operations Branch (DIOB) Special Assistant.
- Share extensive knowledge and experience in branch operational procedures (which may be written into Quality Management System (QMS) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s).
- Work with support staff (s) regarding tracking of liquidated damages; sample analysis tracking; SOPs; and other duties.
- For development purposes, Contractor shall provide training for Division of Management
- Operations (DMO) staff on administrative duties such as HR, Travel.
- For development purposes, Contractor shall work with ORA designated staff members, as well as with subject matter experts and hiring officials to perform partial and full classification of the job description for the government employee, provide position descriptions (PD) (the contractor shall write the PD which will reflect the job description properly for the government employee), either full evaluations or evaluation summaries to meet ORA’s requirements.
- For development purposes, Contractor shall gather all necessary fact finding, interviewing, and evaluative work associated with recommending the appropriate title, series, and grade of position; documenting the basis for that recommendation in a written evaluation statement; and preparation of new or amended position descriptions. The Agency's representative retains classification authority over the position.
- Work shall be performed in accordance with guidelines contained in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Introduction to the Position Classification Standards and The Classifier's Handbook.
- For development purposes, Contractor shall do all things necessary to: gather information and document a comparison and evaluation of the duties and responsibilities against criteria in pertinent OPM classification standards.
