Responsible for creating, dispatching, and clearing trouble reports for all companies of Shentel. Daily contact with customers regarding service problems. Daily contact with Network Technicians regarding service orders and dispatching and clearing troubles. Analyze all reported troubles and dispatch those troubles to the proper department for the necessary service work. After service work has been completed, clear them in trouble system and if possible confirm customer satisfaction. Determine the nature of the trouble and the proper department to handle it.
a. Education: High School diploma or equivalent
b. Experience Level: 6 months – 1 year in telephony or basic electronics. Cable and Service order records 6 months, brief field experience provided with position.
c. Skills Summary: Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, works well under pressure, good communication skills, and must be able to hear, speak, read, and write.
