Committed to providing a results-driven environment in a progressive and innovative culture, we are seeking a business development/marketing professional who is skilled in developing email marketing campaigns, managing high volume outbound sales goals, and driving results. 


The Business Development Manager will work closely with marketing, senior management and account teams to create email campaigns aligned to our broader sales/marketing initiatives. The BDM will analyze market and competitive data and work closely with Aquent Account Directors to determine outbound sales targets. The BDM will also provide prospecting through outbound channels, creating target lists, including managing drip campaigns, and driving conversion to leads.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Account Directors to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing team to leverage campaigns to aid in outbound activity

  • Partner with Account Directors to identify and gain access to key stakeholders in target accounts

  • Develop tactics and programs to contact target accounts, secure appointments with targets, and maintain ongoing communication links with target organizations

  • Become an expert at using lead generation tools and LinkedIn Sales navigator to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects

  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualified leads via email, phone and social touches using Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce CRM

  • Advance prospects to qualified leads

  • Utilize smart, targeted questions with decision makers in Marketing/Creative Org’s to identify needs and challenges of the prospective customer

  • Extensive use of Salesforce CRM and other tools to build and maintain accurate activity, contact and account information for all active accounts and prospects

  • Achieve and exceed pipeline contribution and activity goals as set by your manager


What You’ll Need:

  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grown and excel in their role

  • Interest in Advertising, Marketing, Creative Services Industry

  • Ability to strategically research and develop accounts for prospecting

  • Comfort and desire for cold calling and outreach (email, social, video, phone, etc.)

  • Comfort in front of the camera

  • Excited to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Strong business acumen

  • Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Open communication, good writing & verbal skills, listening and learning and asking questions for clarification and understanding

  • Customer focused approach, demonstrating a desire to help solve customer business problems

  • Strong time management, focusing time & energy on the highest potential prospects and activities that drive success



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of one-two years of experience in sales/business development or similar function

  • Highly organized individual with excellent time management skills; highly flexible individual who can handle frequent deadlines and unplanned requests for quick action or response

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction

  • Demonstrated proficiency in daily activity logging and tracking

  • Strong customer interaction and relationship-building skills; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed business development and lead generation objectives

  • Ability to communicate all aspects of a broad solution set to potential customers

  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove (or similar sales engagement platform), Salesforce CRM and an interest in learning other sales enablement technology platforms

  • Prior SDR/BDM/BDR experience is a plus
